(Manly Art Project by Ceasius Kakius)
In 2014 Ceasius Kakius started the Manly Art Project (#MACK) - a collaborative art project in the centre of Manly NSW.
What makes this project different to other street art initiatives is that it involves removable panels mounted on walls in central, high traffic spaces. Every month a new artist paints a new artwork on the panels, and since they're removable they can be sold or donated after the display and there is no need for councils or artists to worry about maintenance or upkeep. The other difference is that MACK focuses on the creative process, not just the finished product. Each month the artworks are created during a live art events which starts a dialogue between the artists and the public in collaboration with business. 360 degrees co
